Cheapest Nursing Home

What is the cheapest, reputable nursing home that you have found?  The cheapest I have found is $105 per day in Dallas.

Also I find it very inconvenient and annoying that most nursing homes do not display their daily rate on their site.

My friend's father hired a private nurse from philippines and said it is cheaper than to hire here...

The Chicago Tribune recently profiled a family who sent his elderly parents to a nursing home in India that was built to western standards. The man sent his 89 year old mother who suffers from advanced Parkinson's disease and his 93 year old father who has Alzheimer's disease to India. The cost for them is only about $15.00 a day, or about $5,500 a year! For this price, they receive better care there than in most nursing homes in the United States. The father has a full-time personal assistant and a cook. The mother gets massages, physical therapy and 24-hour staffing for any needs that she might have!

Nursing homes and assisted living facilities in the US are really costly that is why some families just hire personal care givers.  Some also head outside the country to places like Mexico where nursing homes are cheaper

yup this is absolutely true its very costly here in US but u can find the cheapest but u have to make little search for it like mention ur area and requirement u may be find what u need......
